The color crew has determined three color combos for flooring in the narthex and sanctuary and supplementary upholstered worship seating. Thank you Mark Housman, Martha Redford, Tom Moore, Jan Riley and Joyce Tober for your help.
Since true colors aren't always best represented in digital format, we encourage all who are able to view the following three options below in person. Samples will be on display in the sanctuary the weeks of July 17 and 24. Those who wish are invited to cast their vote either online (click here) on Sunday at church, via traditional mail, or by calling 253-752-7734.
Voting will close on Sunday, July 24 at midnight.
Results of the vote will be shared on Monday, July 25th!
Among our Joys
We celebrate the new community forming amongst the many intersections of community and love on our little village on 6th and Orchard. Beautiful gardens worked on together, hope given in a new skill learned about financial management, joy shared as the gift of music is taught, paint glistening, prayer animating, healing happening.
Among our Concerns
We add back to our concerns September Petersen who is battling a resurgence of cancer.
Laura Richhtal, recovering from a medical procedure
Bear, Melanie Peabody's partner
Daniel Davis, friend of Susan Pearson
Rachel Morford, daughter of Mary Morford
We pray for our homebound friends, Helen Bosley, Elaine Jonson, Harry and Margaret Lobberegt, Jane Nelson, Marylu and Joseph Mills and Jim and Kay Thompson.
Among our local and global community concerns:
We lift up all in Ukraine and others in harm's way, and for refugees throughout the world seeking safety.
We pray for all who are living currently at the village on 6th and Orchard; pray for peace in the midst of the many circumstances in which those experiencing houselessness endure. We also pray for a renewed sense of urgency in our city, neighborhood, and congregation in our work to secure housing as a right for all human beings.
This week, we lift up our Global Ministries partners in China.
