This week's community joys & concerns from August 16, 2026

Among our Concerns: 

• We lift up Sue Simpson as she begins her course of chemotherapy treatment this week

• We pray for our homebound friends and for all those this morning in need of community and loving support. May God guide our next steps, always towards one another.

Among our local and global community:

• We pray for peace throughout the world, in places of conflict and fear, in places of loss and in need of transformation.

• We lift up the Village on 6th and Orchard

• We pray for those in harm's way in the midst of the wildfires present in Washington and surrounding states, as well as the safety of first responders.

• Last but not least, we lift up our Global Ministry partners this week in Morocco.
