This week's community joys & concerns from June 15, 2025

Among our concerns, we continue to pray for:

• Roger Davidson, Peter Wright and Pat Riley

• Cathy Helseth

• Laura Cohthril

• Danny Jablonski

• For the friends of our extended community and families undergoing health challenges; Susan, Marcia, Cherrie, Loretta, Raven, Margo and Steve.

We lift up our homebound friends:

• Harry and Margaret Lobberegt

• Dorothy Beeles

• Anastasia Cox and her daughter, Lela

• Joseph Mills

• Jane Nelson.

   

Among our local and global community:

• In this season of escalating rhetoric and increased threats for violence, let us pray for a spirit of cooling down - for those with hot heads to find it within themselves to take a deeper breath - for those of us with a penchant or anxiety to remember the spirit of peace and to claim for ourselves and for the circles in which we find ourselves, for those with a desire to seek revenge, a new urge for peace, and for those recoiling from their strikes, to drop their weapons and join in on the work of gardening for crops that everybody can dine on.

• We pray for those enmeshed in conflict and war, both here locally and around the world - for the spirit to make a way out of what we have told ourselves so many times there is no viable path.

• We up our Global Ministries partners this week in Italy
