Among our local and global community:
In the midst of oversimplified answers that drown out the dignity of all of God's children, be that in political rhetoric, civil discourse, or action, I invite you to join me in praying for the hearts of God's people to be softened - from words of defiance to eyes and ears of understanding; for those who live in fear to be seen and to be heard and to be found.
We pray for peace and compassion throughout the world. Amongst many who find themselves in places of conflict or struggle for justice and peace. We pray for an end to the genocide in Gaza, for those facing political violence and acts of war around the world, including Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Ukraine, and Somalia.
For the village on 6th and Orchard, and for those who find themselves without shelter.
And last but not least, we lift up our Global Ministries Partners this week in Japan.
