This week's community joys & concerns from Sept. 13, 2026

Among our Concerns:
We pray for those on a journey of healing.
Lenny Anderson
Sue Simpson
Chris Miller
Mark Fry
Bill Poores
We add to our prayers Ginny Quiring as she recovers from a broken bone in her foot from a fall she took this week.
We lift up our homebound friends and those for whom making it to Church is increasingly a difficult thing to do to a variety of challenge.
Among our Concerns:
Anita Thompson
Dorothy Beeles
Norma Carolyn
Phyllis Jacobsen
Harry Lobberegt
Pat Lien
Charlene Housman
Lela Cox
Marc Master
Irene McBride
And we continue to lift up Alice Cooper on the death of Alice’s aunt, Kareem Culbreath-Williams
Among our local and global community:
We pray for all in harm’s way in the Middle East with the resurgence of violence and for a global reckoning as we’re forced to grapple with the unsustainability of our dependence on oil and other resources that fail to support the web of life in which we’re spun.
We lift to God the village on 6th and Orchard, and we continue to pray for those seeking shelter and community of many kinds.
Last but not least, please join me in lifting our Global Ministries partners, this week, in Palestine.
If you'd like to share a prayer joy or concern, please contact Pastor Doug at doug@fcctacoma.org or by calling the church office. Please indicate whether your prayer is to be shared publicly or if you'd like it to be kept private.
