Among our Concerns, we continue to pray for:
Peter Wright
Lela Cox
Bill Poores
Laura Cohthhril
Danny Jablonski
For the friends of our extended community and families undergoing health challenges: Raven, Margo, Steve, and Jose.
We lift up our homebound friends:
Charlene Housman
Phyllis Jacobsen
Dorothy Beeles
Anastasia Cox and her daughter, Lela
Harry Lobberegt
Jane Nelson
Pat Lien
And we continue to pray for Ronnie Bush and her family. We gathered here on Saturday to celebrate Jim Bush's life and to remember the community of which we are all a part and called to tend through the storms of life. We pray for all who grieve in the wake of Jim's death and for love's embrace to continue to move all of us closer to the heart of God as we serve one another.
Among our local and global community:
In the midst of oversimplified answers that drown out the dignity of all of God's children, be that in political rhetoric, civil discourse, or action, I invite you to join me in praying for the hearts of God's people to be softened - from words of defiance to eyes and ears of understanding; for those who live in fear to be seen and to be heard and to be found.
We pray for peace and compassion throughout the world. Amongst many who find themselves in places of conflict or struggle for justice and peace.
For the village on 6th and Orchard and for those who find themselves without shelter.
And last but not least, we lift up our Global Ministries Partners this week in Indonesia.
