Among the joys in our community and beyond,
We give thanks for the sun's breakthrough and for glimpses of the turning of the season all around.
We continue praying for:
Ron & Sandra Wagner-Wright, Cassie's parents.
Kim King, sister-in-law of Sandy King
Bill Duncan, a member of Laura Richholt's family
Mark Housman, who has progressed in his recovery after heart surgery on 1/25 and continues healing at in a physical rehabilitation facility.
Bear, Mel Peabody's partner
And for our homebound friends, Helen Bosley, Harry and Margaret Lobberegt, Jane Nelson, Marylu and Joseph Mills and Jim and Kay Thompson and Lenora Cook.
Among our local and global community concerns:
For the hundreds of thousands affected by the recent devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria, including family members and loved ones of the 20,000+ victims of this terrible disaster. We pray for first responders and for those on the ground working to help one another through this very trying time. Read how our denomination is on the ground and how you can help make a difference through Week of Compassion.
