This week's community joys & concerns from June 29, 2025

Among our concerns:

• We pray especially for Margaret Lobberegt, who has entered hospice care, and for her beloved, Harry, and for their children as they care for her and navigate this difficult time.

• ·Aaron & Mistique Hart while they navigate the loss of their dad Rory Hart. 

• A friend of Marilyn and Richard Youtzy who will be a on a long road of recovery needs our prayers.

We continue to pray for:

• Roger Davidson, Peter Wrigh,t and Pat Riley

• Cleve Parker

• Cathy Helseth

• Laura Cohthril

• Danny Jablonski

• For the friends of our extended community and families undergoing health challenges: Susan, Marcia, Cherrie, Loretta, Raven, Margo, and Steve.

We lift up our homebound friends:

• Harry and Margaret Lobberegt

• Dorothy Beeles

• Anastasia Cox and her daughter, Lela

• Joseph Mills

• Jane Nelson.

   

Among our local and global community:

• We pray for peace. We pray for the disarmament of hatred and of weaponry of all kinds which feed us the illusion that peace is only possible at the expense of human life and dignity.

• We pray for those enmeshed in conflict and war, both here locally and around the world - for the spirit to make a way out of what we have told ourselves so many times there is no viable path. May we not become the evil we deplore.

• We up our Global Ministries partners, this week in Hong Kong.
