Dear friends,
This Sunday, we will celebrate All Saints’ Day, a special day in the Christian calendar when we celebrate the lives of those who have gone before us; those who have paved the way for what it looks like to live a life fully out of faith and love. Though I know that it can be difficult to recall those whose smiles and memories we miss, the Good News of God’s eternal love is that their souls and legacies live on within us and through the community we continue to form, thanks be to God. As we prepare for this special day, I invite you to take a prayerful moment to pause and reflect on those in your life who have been saints along the way.
What have they taught you?
How have they helped make the person you are today?
Let us give God thanks for the saints of our lives and for the cloud of witnesses to which we are called to be for others, here in our living.
